Small Batch Bourbon Eggnog

While there are so many eggnog recipes out there, the bourbon eggnog is one of the easiest. For this recipe, you need just four ingredients and a stick blender or any other blender. Perfect for a few servings, bourbon eggnog is a favorite drink for Christmas parties, holiday gatherings and is also perfect for rich holiday treats.

Prep Time: 1 minute

Mix Time: 2 minutes

Total Time: 3 minutes

Ingredients

● Two eggs

● 1⁄3 cup of sugar

● 1 1⁄4 cups of half and half

● 1⁄2 teaspoon of freshly grated nutmeg

● 2 ounces of good bourbon

Instructions

● Add the eggs and blend with an immersion blender for a minute in a quart sized mason jar

● Add sugar and blend for another minute

● Add half and half, nutmeg and bourbon

● Blend until combined

● Chill thoroughly to allow flavors melt

● Top each glass with freshly grated nutmeg

● Serve and enjoy

Recipe notes

● Though bourbon is used in this recipe, brandy and rum can also be used.
